Welcome to our Explore Your Shore! Round-Ireland Coastal Bioblitz for World Oceans Day 2024.
From 7th to the 10th June we are asking as many individuals, groups and organisations as possible to survey their local rocky shore or beach for marine species.
Surveys should last for 1 hour, or more! :), and be timed for the hour leading up to low tide. For details of how to survey, click on our Big Beach Biodiversity Survey or Great Rocky Shore BioBlitz links

Also check this page daily to see how we are progressing and see the total records recorded and total species recorded, and find out which individual, group or organisation is leading the way in terms of marine species recording.
