Compressed Purse Sponges can be found beneath overhangs and in rockpools on the lower shore. They are often attached to seaweeds, particularily to red seaweeds. They are one of the few sponges that easily identified by eye. Why not #ExploreYourShoreIRL at http://www.exploreyourshore.ie
