Join Explore Your Shore! at the Shifting Tides Citizen Science and Marine Ecology Symposium in Carlingford Lough on Saturday 24th February

The Shifting Tides Project aims to bring together coastal communities from the twin shores of Carlingford Lough, and across the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, to foster new connections with local marine environments through practical ecology and the collaborative creative arts.

This event will introduce some of the new opportunities this project will be offering ways for people around Carlingford Lough to get involved with citizen science, from beaches to rockpools to the very bottom of the sea.

Citizen science is a new way to get involved with and learn more about your local area. It is also a way for local people to contribute to scientific research that generates new knowledge and understanding.
