Marine Bioblitz – Cobh

Join the National Biodiversity Data Centre and Birdwatch Ireland Cuskinny Marsh Nature Reserve for an Explore Your Shore! Marine Bioblitz at Cuskinny Bay in Cobh, Co. Cork. We will spend the day exploring the Intertidal shore at Cuskinny Bay, photographing and recording as many marine species as possible.
Bring you wellies and appropriate clothing, as well as your camera/smartphone to take photos of your finds. You will be able to submit your records using our Biodiversity App or submit them online. How many marine species can we record in one day? The more people we have exploring on the day, the more species we will find.
We hope to have a number of seashore experts on hand to help you identify what you find on the shore at Cuskinny Bay.
Meet in the Car Park or join us on the shore between 11am and 3pm.
