Explore Your Shore! – Galway Events Launch 2023

Join Galway Atlantaquaria for an Explore Your Shore! Experience on Grattan Beach, Salthill on Friday the 10th of February at 1pm.
This event will launch our Galway Explore Your Shore Events for the year and includes a fantastic introduction to Rock Pool Biodiversity from our Guest Speaker Dave Wall, Citizen Science Officer with the National Biodiversity Centre.
Our launch experience includes a walk into the Rock Pools of Grattan Beach, where participants will be introduced to all species of life on the shore. This is an ideal event for anyone interested in protecting our coastline, learning about marine species, marine litter and educating others about ocean literacy. It also covers health & well-being, as it can motivate more people to visit and record life on our shores.
